The Afronauts

One of the best photographic books I have seen to date is The Afronauts, by +Cristina De Middel . Using staged photographs and fake documents, Middel recreates her interpretation of the failed attempt at launching the first African space program in the country of Zambia in 1964.  This body of work is currently being shown at The Copper House Gallery in Dublin, Ireland.

Orderly Conduct

A very interesting investigation of how people use and act similarly in public places.  Photographer +bahbak Hashemi-Nezhad composites images of people into one space to show how similar people are based on background.  Enjoy!

Welcome to my new blog everyone!

Just so that you don't get your hopes up, don't expect too much writing from me.  I will be primarily using this blog as a place to post interesting articles or images that I find inspiring.  Visit daily for new posts and inspiration.

Lets start the blog off with a bang.  Here is an article posted by +The New York Times about a Romanian Woman's Son who was suspected of stealing and burning several Picasso's, Matisse's, and Monet's worth hundreds of millions of dollars.
